Carbon rods create the strength within this quite delicate model, as stated before this model the C36 is at 75% of the original print size, this means that all the original recommended part sizes (the carbon rods) have also changed.
we believe the wings originally used 4mm rods, this will no longer fit in the pre defined holes, but we have found that 3 2mm rods bundled together and bonded in with UHU Hart glue will, so we went with this option for the main spar, then a 3mm rod for the front spar.

Changing the size of the model also created an issue with the servo sizes, the original servo recesses seemed an odd shape, but obviously after resizing are too small for a 9 gram mini servo, so drastic measures are needed. remembering that weight was a major factor we cut out a hole that a 9g servo would fit into, and then used the servo to re structure and strengthen the weekend part.
