RadioMaster TX16S

RadioMaster TX16S

So a little while ago i purchased a #Radiomaster #TX16S to test as i had read that they are quite versatile, i purchased one that was “Spares or repairs” as it wouldn’t do as was expected of it. after a little investigation and fiddling with it, i found that it wasn’t so much “Faulty” but just not configured properly, so i ended up with a perfectly useable TX at a Bergin price!

if you have never seen or used one of these #transmitters that i highly recommend you do, its not going to appeal to everyone, some people will say that they are just cheap (and they are cheap) inferior units, and i would imagine many may scoff as they just don’t understand how to set one up. The #radiomaster #TX16S isn’t for everyone, they are a steep learning curve as there is a LOT of configuration to be done to get the desired results, this is the attraction for me, having the option to configure just about every single setting and function, to me, is exactly what i want. With the 4 in 1 module version you can bind this TX with just about every RX (receiver) you could want, I’m currently using #Spektrum #DMX and #DMS2 receiver along with a couple of #FlySky #Lemon and even a #Devention receiver, i also have a #elrs module ( not that i see myself using it).

i have been using the #TX16S for a few months now and i have upgraded my version 1 (Carbon) from #openTX to #edgeTX this has given me touch screen functionality and i think just a better option of operating system, i fly my #nitro and #electric planes and my electric #helicopters on this TX and i have yet to find a fault with it.

If relatively minimal configuration is what you are after, then i would stick with the main brand #spektrum or #futaba radios, but if versatility and adaptability is what your looking for then i would strongly suggest one of these radios!
