This is the result of an unfortunate accident, we are putting it down to radio failure, at first glance it was unrepairable, but once a more detailed inspection was done it turns out the damage isn’t as bad as it seems, the right wing too the brunt of the collision with a shipping container and it wasn’t that high so didn’t fall too far, she will fly again!
She’s BACK!
After much deliberation i decided to put the old girl back together, it took some doing and iv changed the method of connecting the wings to the fuselage, instead of 2 4mm metal rods it now uses 1 20mm carbon tube that protrudes 1/3rd into each wing, iv also added a top hatch on the fuselage to ease the access for the securing bolts for the wings. Its a delight to fly and sounds really nice with the #SC120 #4stroke engine, iv also added an on board glow system to help with lower revs running. this plane is a joy to both look at and fly.
